KGN Lab

We study ultrafast dynamics of electrons and phonons in solids using femtosecond optical pulses. We are currently focusing on quantum decoherence in connection with quantum-classical transitions.

われわれは、フェムト秒光パルスを用いて固体物質中の電子やフォノンの超高速ダイナミクスの研究を行なっています。最近は、量子古典転移に関連して、量子デコヒーレンスにフォーカスして研究を行なっています。

• Four master's students of Nakamura Lab graduates on March 26.  中村研の修士課程学生４名が修了しました。 (2025 Mar. 26)

• A preprint of the paper on coherent phonons in WSe2 is now available on the arXiv.  "Phonon dynamics of a bulk WSe2 crystal excited by ultrashort near-infrared pulses" by I. Kasai, I. Takagi, and K. G. Nakamura (arXiv.2502.18799).  WSe2のコヒーレントフォノンの論文のプレプリントをarXivに公開しました。 (2025 Feb. 26)
